The Alchemy Hemlock are our highest output traditionally constructed Strat pickups. Wound with modern 0.05mm poly wire around flat AlNiCo 5 pole pieces, these pickups are capable of driving an amplifier very hard naturally, replicating the power of a humbucking pickup, with much of the warmth, but without sacrificing the lively and harmonic open sound of a single coil pickup. They're capable of very punchy and clear modern cleans, and handling stacks of gain and producing a heavy, unique hard rock, prog and metal tone, particularly in the bridge. The Hemlock set retain the 60-cycle hum of true single coils, but for super high gain applications the bridge and middle p'ups can be operated in series, for a massive humbucking tone.
 
A big, bold and powerful tone, but fundamentally a traditional Strat pickup set, without any modern trickery.
 
All single coil middle pickups come with RW/RP as standard, so positions 2 and 4 produce in-phase humbucking tones.
